The Pirates have left a ton of runners on base this entire season. A clutch hit every so often probably could have won at least 5 more games. Davis looked like a deer in headlights, Rivas going around in circles. Feel bad for Perdomo. Just as I type this another bloop into no man’s land in right.
The difference in this game is that the Twins scored everytime they had an opportunity. The Pirates of course left a bunch of runners in scoring position.

I find this inconceivable but I didn’t know it was this awful: as I think we all know, the Pirates have done poorly when playing American League clubs since the inception of Interleague play. But it’s so bad that they’ve managed to have a losing record against every AL team, with the exception of Detroit. Those poor Tigers fans.
