Kang to miss the start of spring training

Players are under program in the states in the off season. Why wouldn't Kang be under the same program in Korea?

It's not that much to pay a trainer/chef for the Pirates or Kang.

Heh, just joking around Dogknot.

Though now that I think about it one of "invisible fences" might not be a bad idea either.

Kang's appeal is scheduled for May 25th.

Add on a couple of weeks for a visa application (with no guarantee of success) with however many weeks of training and he probably won't be back before July.

I get it. This whole thing makes me mad. The Pirates either don't know what is going on or are not sharing information. I just feel the Pirates should have been more on top of things. They had to know a work visa issue might happen. They should know (or should have known) more than us, as fans.

I'm only half joking when I say this...I wonder if Nutting contributed to the Clinton campaign? Seriously...PA was one of the states that swung the election for Trump. You'd think he could throw us a bone here or something! ;D

Did you mean Trump? Clinton lost, remember...

I couldn't find anything on Nutting and his political party association when others were joking.  Probably smart not to say anything so you don't isolate half the fan base.

It has nothing to do with Trump's ban.  Korea isn't on the list.  I just don't know how his other DUIs were missed or if a third is the "who is this guy" limit?

While this doesn't mean anything for sure, I don't know that the Ogden newspapers are known for being particularly liberal.

Maybe if he was walked more (instead of driving), he wouldn't be in this mess.

Or spent some of his millions on a cab once in awhile he also wouldn't be in this mess too.

An Update on Kang from MLBTR

Don't count on Kang any time soon or maybe even before the ASB

Hey, we agree.

I don't think we see Kang anytime soon either. So, his absence lessens the bench even more because Freese has to start.
