I know this is for other games but I'll make it other things.

I see Portland has a group of investors looking to build a stadium to attract a team. I think the PNC lease is up in 2029-2030?

I believe Vegas will scoop up a team before then. Someone like the Marlins. I'd hate the Burgh to be BUCless but the Portland Pirates has a ring to it. Just a speculation on the future of the BUCS. A lot can happen in 7-8 years.

I believe someone mentioned Mark Appel recently. He finally

made his Major League debut nine years after being drafted

#1 in 2013. He pitched in the 9th inning for the Phillies on WEd. night. Talk about perseverance!!

Interesting issue with mlb tv package. The Red Sox-Cubs game is on MLB Network. The game shows as a blackout with my mlb app on the phone, I'm assuming because it's on MLB network. But I can watch it on mlb tv on my computer.

I wonder why that is? So, my cable, I can watch, my pc I can watch, but on my phone I can't.

It's incomprehensible to me that four teams, including the Pirates, are not scheduled to play today, the 4th of July.
