In that time they only lost 1 game in the standings to the Pirates. When the 10 game losing streak began, the Cubs were 1 game behind the Bucs. Now it's 2.

The Braves probably feel as though they lost by 21.

Then there's the Angels, who must hold the world record for under-performance and squandering the likes of Mike Trout. Anthony Rendon gone for the season. Needs wrist surgery.
