Baseball history made.

The Houston Astros become the first MLB team to toss two Immaculate Innings (9 pitches, 3 ks) in the same game.

If that's not a feat in and of itself, it was against the same three Rangers.

I feel safe in predicting that it won't be repeated in my lifetime.

Don't be so sure. A lot of teams get to pitch against the Pirates.

Don't be so sure. A lot of teams get to pitch against the Pirates.

Our cast of LMGs don't hang around long enough to get two ABs in a game.

Cubs well on their way to their 9th straight loss. Imagine the humiliation of being behind the Pirates in the standings, having the Pirates lose 9 in a row and only gaining a half game on them before tonight. If the Pirates hold on to win tonight, they will be 1-9 in the last 10 games during which they will have gained a half game on the Cubs.

Braves win 14th in a row.

Tigers use 3 position players to pitch in 13-0 loss. Kody Clemens, Roger's son, is one of those pitchers, pitches an inning allowing 3 hits, one BB, but somehow gave up only one run

Joe Musgrove just finished the 6th inning. He's gone 6 or more innings in all 12 starts this season
