Bucs take two of three from the Dodgers. As we speak, Manfred is gathering his staff in order to devise rules that will weaken the Pirates formula for winning: bad starting pitching, terrible managing, and a disgustingly low payroll.

Frankly, I didn't think it was possible; 2 of 3 from the Dodgers, particularly after the Dodgers came back to tie it in the 7th.

Nice win. Hats off to Peters, Kranick and Bednar for some great pitching and for Crowe hanging on when the team needed him to.

Nice to see some HR power from the Bucs. Suwinski (looking more comfortable at the plate), VanMeter (look what I found), and Vogelbach (better production than I expected when he was signed). Looks like they can score more than 3 when they put a charge into the ball.

Also --- Manfred to Nutting and BC --- you need to keep Shelton on as a manager to give the other teams a chance when the current Pirate minor leaguers (hopefully) suddenly mature into good major leaguers.
