Golly gee whiz, that is one heck of an intelligent observation. Newman is a 1st round pick who hit .302 in AAA this year and shows every sign of being a valuable mainstay in the future. Until 2 weeks ago he had never seen major league pitching. And now he has seen 18 MLB ABs. Not 600. Not 500. Not 400. 18!!! Yes, let's be the only organization that gives up on its 1st round draft picks after 18 ABs before moving on. I realize your brain is overcome with all things hatred but can you focus for a few seconds to see what insanity you are babbling?

Wake up and smell the coffee before you keep apologizing for this Management. If we give 500 at bats to every minor leaguer that they put in a major league uniform, we will all be dead before we ever see a winner.

I have NEVER apologized for this management. I'm 1 of their biggest critics. But I still realize the benefit of ANY 1st rd pick (as all teams do) without calling to dump them after 18 ABs. There's plenty to criticize this front office about. But your comments about Newman are absurd bordering on insanity. I welcome intelligent comments critical of this management. But your Looney Tunes comments are of no value. Wake up and smell the coffee! Or at least take your meds.

It is truly amazing. McCutchen is not good enough for our star studded line up, but the Yankees can use him???
