Again, it makes sense if you start off with the premise that Glasnow, Brault, and Kuhl need more development time. They came up in June-July because of so many injuries, but the return of Cole, Taillon, and Vogelsong push them back to where management wants them right now.
My suggestion is just be grateful for Locke and Vogelsong - it could be Justin Masterson they're sending out there.

Yeah. At least one area where Neal deserves benefit of the doubt is whether a player is ready for MLB. But this still hurts....

Good thing we came back and didn't waste a Cole start. Realistically, we need to go 5-1 this week to stay in this thing...plus, 2-1 or 3-0 to start next week. We have 9 straight against the 3 worst teams in the league and have to stack up a lot of wins now.
