Economic Issues?
This problem with these RSN would appear to be something that Major League Baseball will have to resolve as a group and not on a team basis. It will be interesting as to how this situation plays out.

The local sports talk radio here in the Philadelphia area said that the Seattle Mariners are a partial participant in the group with the Pirates.
Between Manfred and Nutting, all the word salad means is that the consumer will, at some point in the near future, get the short end of the stick.
For this year, it may be a fan friendly arrangement so that they do not lose any followers, so Nutting stands to lose some revenue. He will recover it through less salary allotted to the roster, and higher prices to the fans.
MLB will recover through fees that are charged for MLB TV. It may take a year, or even 2, to work everything out, but it will come back to bite us (the fans) in the end.
