he is playing with no pressure. If he hits a foul ball he can astound the fans.

It all makes sense now. They want the Dbacks to see how valuable Polanco could be to their drive for the 2022 1st rd pick. All they have to do is put in a waiver claim. It's reverse showcasing. :)

I don’t care if he hits a HR to win the game, he’s taking time away from another player who needs the experience. That’s going to hurt the team more in the future than how much he can help the team now in a meaningless season. This is just stupid.

Both ingenious and devious. This Cherington fellow is amazing.

Reynolds is a darn good CF. An easy double - he holds to a single.  Don’t know how many times that’s happened with him in CF, but I don’t think I’ve ever seen this regular impact.

The single did clear the bases however….

Very disappointing.

:-?

2500? just wait to Sept.

It looks like we will have to wait a few days to actually see if we get our wish of waving goodbye to Pooplanco

I get that you are joking. And agree that Gregory is not a good baseball player.

But from all of the beat writers and FAN hosts and others who have dealt with him, he seems to be a really good person.

I don't think he deserves that demeaning nickname.
