fired their manager!
Can't justify Shelton returning next year. Hell, can't justify
him finishing out this season
Quote from Shelton after last nights loss
" We need a break and we aren't getting them now"
Shortstop doesn't catch a ball thrown right to him
Tellez doesn't run hard to First Base adfter hitting a ball down the line to left
and only gets a single
Bucs strike out 15 time
Now tell me about catching a break
Here's what you do Shelton
Send Cruz down to Greensboro
DFA Tellez ( won't be back next year anyway) and bring up people who want to hustle
Fire Haines- Players can't do any worse on their own

There's one consistent theme through every comment Shelton makes: THERE WAS NOTHING HE COULD HAVE DONE DIFFERENTLY AS MANAGER!

The opposing pitchers executed their pitches.
Shelton's pitchers need to execute their pitches.
The other team has a good lineup.
Shelton's batters need to finish ABs.
Shelton's team needs to catch a break.

This is why nothing ever changes and they keep getting the same result. Shelton has no answers. He doesn't even see the problems.
There's no basement in the Alamo.

I'm telling you, the radio guys read this thread. That was part of their talking bit on the game and the team today.
