Should the Bucs pursue Michael Bourn
I read today that the Oriole's released Michael Bourn and I wonder if the Pirates should bring him on board. He is 34 years old but he would probably be better than Danny Ortiz or even a better defender than Jaso.

Sounds good to me. I have no idea what his stats look like but has to be better than Osuna overall.

At best sign him for Indy and see if he can get on a hot streak.
He did hit 264 last year but I think he has lost a lot of his speed. Not even sure how good he is defensively any more.
His OBA has been lower than 320 since 2013.

I would like that if they could get him for someone other than their top 10 prospects. Maybe prospects like they moved for Nova last year.

Half a season of Ichiro wouldn't cost a top prospect at all. He doesn't even start for the Marlins and makes like $2 million a year. I doubt Ichiro would like to be traded, but I would like to see the guy play more. He might get more ticket subscriptions sold too.

Ichiro is doing really bad though, .153/.194/.237/.431. You might as well use Danny Ortiz instead.

Yes. Pretty sad I would rather have Ichiro than the guys currently on the team. Ortiz booted a ball last night. An error by the teams' actual outfielder.

You're assuming Ichiro won't make errors. I'd guess that most guys could hit .153.

Ortiz booted one ball last night and got sent back to the minors today. Good to see the Pirates taking defense seriously. Of course, Polanco being activated may have had something to do with that.
