According to Google we've claimed the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of YAI.

Or we've claimed George Kontos, bullpen pitcher from the Giants   [smiley=smiley.gif]

/ I was unfamiliar with him

I like this move. Kontos is a guy I thought would have been dealt at the deadline. Kontos isn't having one of his best years, but still a decent arm.

If memory serves correctly, he was or originally part of the Xavier Nady trade. I seem to recall he and Phil Coke being replaced by Jeff Karstens and Daniel McCutchen.

IMO: He's better than some of what's in the pen right now, so great. And he's owed $300k, and I'd always prefer to dig into Nutting margins vs not.

He will be non-tendered this offseason due to his arb increase, but he improves the pen now.

He is better than the guy we acquired at the deadline.  Maybe he replaces Benoit. I'm not opposed to this one.
