I will be starting on Monday at #1, of course. Polls will last for two days. I usually go to 40, as long as the interest is there. I will ask for suggestions on who to add next. I will start with 12 players, can go as high as 15 depending on recommendations. Ties will result in a one-day runoff, if that is a tie we will consider it a tie.
Last years results :
1. Mitch Keller
2. Austin Meadows (traded)
3. Shane Baz (traded)
4. Cole Tucker
5. Colin Moran (no longer eligible)
6. Ke'Bryan Hayes
7. Kevin Newman
8. Taylor Hearn (traded)
9. Bryan Reynolds
10. Jordan Luplow (traded)
11. Msx Moroff (Traded)
12. Nick Kingham (no longer eligible)
13. Kevin Kramer
14. Luis Escobar
15. Lolo Sanchez
16. Will Craig
17. Kyle Crick (no longer eligible)
18. Jason Martin
19. Oneil Cruz
20. Clay Holmes
21. Mason Martin
22, Edgar Santana (no longer eligible)
23. Cal Mitchell
24. Steven Jennings
25. Braeden Ogle
26. Connor Uselton
27. Nick Burdi
28. Steven Alemais
29. Max Kranick
30. Dovydas Neverauskas (no longer eligible)
31. Adrian Valerio
32. Logan Hill
33. I honestly don't remember and it's not on my spreadsheet
34. Gage Hinsz
35. Dario Agrazal
36. Rodolfo Castro
37. Eduardo Vera
38. Bligh Madris
39. Brandon Waddell
40. Jin-De Jhang
Pablo Reyes and Alex McRae were among those who got votes who did not make the top 40. Richard Rodriguez was among those who didn't even merit a mention, so we're not infallible.
Always looking for suggestions. have fun.

Coming soon- the annual Only Bucs Top 40 prospects poll
I think #33 was Christopher Bostick after pecking around a little.

Thank you for taking the time and expending the effort to run this poll. It's a chance to consider baseball during an otherwise dark month for news and conversation. Looking forward to it.

Here is a good repository for 2018 minor league stats.
This was the first time since 2013 that they had two DSL teams and I think they are going to be shipping a bunch of players over from the DSL to the GCL and Bristol.
I'm interested to see what they do with Herman in 2019. His out of nowhere 2018 was akin to Mason Martin's 2017 GCL stint. Martin was out of place in low-A the next season and had to be demoted midseason. I could see them holding back on moving him to low-A. So Bristol could be home to a lot of the GCL guys like Inoa, Bae, Eusebio and Herman, and also the older DSL players that had strong seasons like Fajardo and Apostel. I'd like to see Pie and Basabe in the GCL this year.
The 2018 draft was pretty heavy on college hitters, so those guys will likely take the starting spots on the low-A team. Altoona is a potential black hole this year, but there are some breakout guys like Mitchell, Cruz and Swaggerty in Bradenton that could see time in Altoona next year.
Their last two international classes injected a ton of life in to this system. Should they be in a similar place again in 2019, they will have a lot of depth to deal from.

A kid to keep our eyes on. P2 says he could be a sleeper mid-round player. At Bristol, he did not face the competition that a college player would see at Morgantown. Showed good power but has a high K rate. Don't know if he will go to Greenville this year but as P2s #42 pre-season prospect he is worth following this year.
