Alfredo Reyes A Non Roster Invitee

It was noted today that Alfredo Reyes was invited to Big League Camp as a non roster invitee. This seemed strange because the Pirates just could have brought him over from Pirate City when they needed him. It appears they may want to get a better look at him. Reyes is a player who can play several positions, but so can Pablo Reyes who has a good chance to make the club. It just appears there may be an underlying reason why they invited Alfredo Reyes to camp. Possibly another team wants to look at him for an upcoming trade.
