MLB, and for my concern, the Pirates have finally started with refunds for the 2020 season. They refunded single game ticket holders already.
STH had to answer a survey as to what option they would like, given a choice of two of them, complete refund, or a roll over with a bonus.
I chose refund. Today, I get a reply to my email about said refunds. Lo and behold, I was given an offer that wasn't part of the original options, that sweetened the pot for rolling my money over to 2021.
Now THAT is how to do business! I'm certain BOB will make up the additional stipend offered to those of us who are now going to go with the temptation of a bigger bonus, by offering us one more LMG on the roster.
So don't hate BOB when that happens. Hate on us for reaching into BOB's wallet, because he's slapping your hand.

They also finally offered a partial refund for the annual MLB.TV subscription.

Yes. You can get your money back for the season or have it roll over as a credit next season.

"Roll over." Seems appropriate for a choice of words.

MLB.tv is a joke. I live in Iowa, where six teams are blacked out—the Cubs, Cards, Brewers, White Sox, Royals, and Twins. Bucs play 41 games against them this year. 41 of 60 games are blacked out here for a team that supposedly doesn’t claim Iowa as home territory. No discounted rate. $60 for 60 games. Funny thing is, it’s regularly $120. They’re playing 37% of a season. 37% of $120 is $44.44. Forget you MLB. You screw around with the rules of baseball, you have a vastly uneven playing field for all teams, you rip off your fans, and you can’t even get rid of your ridiculous, arcane, blackouts (since were doing away with the “arcane” idea of the pitcher hitting for himself).

Wow, that is effed up. The only team blacked out for me is the Red Sox, which is fine with me.
