Jose Reyes has a 22m club option in 2018, I doubt they pick that up with a 4m buyout....seems like an older guy they might "settle" on, he can play 3B.

(.114/.195/.143)

making all of his outs in the winter. Still doubt he makes it to spring training in US.

But dog said he was about as good as we can have at third, IIRC. No need for Todd Frazier.

Kang batted .200 in Spring Training in 2015 too. That season turned out pretty well. Do you judge players by Fall League stats? I do not even though I was hoping/expecting he would be hitting better.

Yes, I would rather have Kang over Frazier. I never said Kang was the best 3B in all of baseball. So, you did not remember that correctly.

Having been away for a year, Kang's current difficulty in winter ball doesn't seem unexpected. But I don't consider it evidence that he won't get back into form with continued play. If he could get back to the USA, I think the Bucs would be better off with him than without him.

President Trump just got the three UCLA basketball players out of their troubles (stealing) in China. Maybe he can help Jung Ho Kang?

Apples and oranges. The two situations have nothing in common.

If only Trump could bring back Kang's hitting stroke, LOL> I know that is a long shot, but if Kang could bounce back and hit like he did in 2016...I know if wishes were horses, we all would take a ride...Wishful thinking on a slow baseball hot stove kinda week.

Beattem Bucs 8-)

I hope this isn't serious. Kang isn't American. Those three from uCLA better get suspended.

Maybe Trump can buy the Pirates. That would help more and certainly be entertaining.
