I don't want a lefty pitcher just because they are left-handed. Brault needs to prove himself more. He hasn't done very well in the majors this year.

I don't either. Since moving into PNC the Bucco farm system has developed Tony Watson, Zach Duke and Paul Maholm as left handed pitchers.



Surely I am missing several left handed pitchers.

Very true. So it's up to the FO to find an effective LHP(s).

OMG and then Bell does the same exact thing! Inning goes walk, single, single, wild pitch, K, walk, single. Inning over. Two runners out going to 3B. Do these guys have a clue as to base running? Gosh it's great to know Hurdle will be here 4 more years.

I haven't watched a game since the near perfecto against LA. But, checked in on Gameday. Saw they made the first AND third outs of the inning at third base. Terrible. Exhibits A and B why this team is five games under .500 (after Rivero locks this one down).

Too agreesive can be bad too. Marte looked safe to me. Not sure why they didn't challenge it. Bell got caught on a cut off to the plate.

Raise it. They won the game.
