If he isn’t forced to bunt; I say he gets his first HR today!

The NL Central is beginning to have shades of the 1997 season looming over it.
3.5 games separate the best team from the worst team. Although it is highly unlikely, by the end of this weekend, all of the teams could be in a virtual tie.
Bucs (hopefully) could do their part by sweeping the Brewers. Time for Brault to step up and give the team 6 good innings tonight. Team could really use a good start from someone.

And a clutch hit or two as well!

I'm surprised to see that the Brewers only have 1 player in their lineup hitting better than .267.

Oh No!
Brault looks like he suffered an arm injury.
This bad luck has to stop

I'm gonna take a wild guess and say that Brault is done for the year. The way he was holding his shoulder didn't look good.

We’ll be told in about the seventh inning that Steven Brault left with “left shoulder discomfort.”

He was pitching a good game too.
Keeping my fingers crossed that it is something minor

Brault's recent effectiveness has coincided with him attacking the strike zone instead of flirting with it. But tonight, altho he walked only 2, he was throwing a lot of pitches well out of the zone. I wonder if his shoulder was hurting throughout the game.
