Draft Pick Penalty

Here's an interesting bit about the new CBA that I'd never heard before. Apparently, teams that spend over the second level of the luxury tax threshold have their first draft shifted lower in the draft, as well as the getting a higher luxury tax bill. This is no concern to Nutting but apparently would have affected the Dodgers if it applied this year. Starts next year --
