Cervelli is 0 for cleanup in his career. Way to go Clint. At least you could have given Kingham a chance to win without pitching a shoutout complete game. That is assuming the somehow this very lackluster lineup can score a couple runs.

Bell with a nice swing finally gets a line drive hit. But Joey Cora strikes again. 3-0.

Polanco crushes one to right center and continues to stay hot Bucs now up 6-1. Looking like they are on their way to making it 5 wins in their last 6 games.

Great to see Bell swinging the bat so well tonight. Nice, level swing instead of the downward chop or short arming it. If he keeps swinging like that the HRs will come.

Ok. Where are the cameras? Bell has 3 hits including a double? Dickerson 2 xbh instead of singles.. the offense is showing up.
Polanco continues to crush the ball. Probably was the rest.
5xbh and 0 errors. Kingham cruising

Taking two in a row from the NL top team shows that this Bucco team can win against the best. For at least two games anyway!
Friday the 13th vs Brewers
After the west coast debacle the Bucs rebounded for a nice week. A combined 5-2 over three tough teams while allowing only 2.57 runs per game. The bullpen only allowed only 4ER in that span – 3 by Brault. Amazing how the recipe of timely hitting and solid pitching never goes out of style.
