I cannot understand why they traded for Benoit. 40 year old pitcher!

This is easy to figure out!
It was a seller's market on left handed pitchers who used to be good (Watson)
a buyer's market on RHP who used to be good (Benoit)
And no market at all on RHP who are currently good and whose names end with the letter "O" (Nicasio).

I think I was more disappointed in not seeing the players' wives answering the phones.
The offense and bullpen were also disappointing.

All I feel is apathy.
It's hard to really care now.

Pierogi payroll is soaring. There is now something like a dozen potatoes running around the field. We spare no expense when it comes to racing potatoes.

It's almost inconceivable to me that this team is 2-13 vs. the Reds and Giants.
And 0-8 AT HOME vs. the Reds and Giants.
If they were 6-2 at home vs. those two bottom-feeders (which isn't really asking all that much), they would be essentially be tied for 1st place.
Absolutely pathetic performance at home vs. rotten teams, and it has basically cost them the season and possibly the division.
