Top 40 Prospects Redux

Theres a lot of low ceilings in that prospect list. Worst list we've had in many years, Imo.

I do agree that we have some mid-tier pitching depth. Dumb luck alone should have a couple of them end up as servicable starters.

Our positions players I would describe as very underwhelming.

NH has said a few times when discussing why trades weren't made for quality ML players that other orgs aren't valuing our prospects as much as he believes they should. Perhaps they are valuing them correctly

Don't you lose eligibility when you start to collect AARP benefits?

Hey!  Watch it with the "old guy" comments.  That is worse than agreeing with Dog.  I don't take those kinds of comments very easily.  Don't do it again or I will sic Dog on you!     ;)

Our qualifications have always been 30 games pitched/50 IP for pitchers. Certain players are no longer a prospect simply due to age, but that's up to the crowd to decide. Barrett Barnes and Gift Ngoepe are actually older (and probably not making the list next year), but Edgar Santana is also 25 and is still eligible.

Thanks for finding a positive where so many others can see only negatives. :)
