I agree 100%. Hurdle's game decisions continue to defy logic.

Hanson is now batting instead of Bell. I guess if it goes extra innings, Ortiz can bat again.



It's not even a strategy, it's bad game management. I would love to know why he makes these moves but the local media is afraid to ask questions.

The Bucs have quietly won 6 of their last 8. I said about a week ago the Pirates had to start winning some series and go 4-2 on this homestand and they did that. Now you have another chance this week playing 7 games against the Braves and Mets who aren't playing well to stack more wins. I agree with the double switching Bell thing as well. It's getting ridiculous and Hurdle needs to stop doing it period. It's gonna costs the Pirates at some point the more he does it for no reason at all.

If the Pirates can go 7-3 in these next 10 games to finish up the month of May they will be back to .500 at 27-27 going into June. The next 10 games consist of 4 in Atlanta, 3 at home with the Mets, and 3 at home with the DBacks so it's definitely possible.

I was hoping for .500 at the start of June for the return of Kang.



I think they need to make a trade for a true outfielder. It could make a difference. Nothing major, but someone.
