This is a game the Pirates really need to win today. When Nova or Cole pitch the Pirates have to win. They aren't going to have a great chance to win when guys like Kuhl, Glasnow or Williams pitch so you gotta win games like this today. Plus, you want to end this 7 game West Coast trip with back to back wins and at least something you can hang your hat on coming home for 12 of the next 16 games at PNC Park until the start of June against a lot of teams with losing records who you might have a chance to win a bunch of games against. Also, the next 5 weeks until June 19th the Pirates play 22 of their next 31 games at PNC Park so it's this stretch of games is really going to be make or break for this team if they are going to do anything of substance this season.
