Home town scoring decision IMHO to keep Yamamoto's ERA super low, both runs unearned so far this inning

Tommy Pham just can not hit the fastball anymore, he keeps missing meatball after meatball.

but he still loses the battle and grounds out. Just so you all know, had there been one out, it's an inning ending double play.

I know Pham has a walkoff hit, and had a 2 out RBI in extra's to keep a game going. He has made a game saving thowing out of a runner at home, and he is grading out as one of the top defenders.

But man, he isn't saving that much defensively that it's replacing his bat. He has to go

I'm still jacked that Davis wasn't awarded a hit. Maybe someone else will have an opinion on the play.

I guess what bothers me about it is I'm tired of seeing guys in our lineup with batting averages below .200, and he's at .136 right now.

Skenes with his 5th strikeout to start the 5th inning.

Strikes out Muncy. An umpdate (get that, see how I did that? UMPdate?) He's squeezing Yamamoto now too.

Someone usually throws the ump scorecard on Reddit the next day, I'll be interested to see how he actually grades out as opposed to my own grading system.

Skenes just can't get this Pages, who once again flips a ball down the right field line for another double, and Reynolds once again looked like one of the ball girls.

Shame, he had him set up to strike out the side, now has to face Ohtaini with a guy in scoring position again. Can't keep messing around like this, I don't care how good Skenes is.

And he strikes out Ohtani!!!!!

3-0 Bucs through 5.

Will be interesting to see if Yamamoto comes out for the 6th he's at 94 pitches. Skenes sits at 87, will Shelton let him face Freeman, Betts, and Hernandez again? Freeman and Hernandez both already have hits off of him.

Looking for the tell tale hugs but not seeing them

Alex Vesia on to pitch, lefty reliever. Nice of Block to finally getting around to introducing him, should have done that right out of the break IMHO.
