Just got in a little bit ago and I see we’re back to our usual selves with three hits and twice as many strikeouts through seven.

Looks like Cutch's necklaces were defective. Maybe they should try mood rings next.

We may be watching history in the making. This might be the most inept offensive unit ever assembled in post 1968 baseball. ( I picked that date because they lowered the mound after dominant pitching that year- me thinks). The only player that I’m reasonably sure will improve offensively is Reynolds. These guys cannot score runs. Soccer teams score more frequently than the Pirates. This bunch might score less than 500 runs this year.

Maybe they’re wearing them upside down.

Reynolds is due for an off year. The guy has been consistently solid but never great. I would turn this whole roster over except for Skenes , Jones, Bart and Endy. Just start over, too much losing with the same guys .

Fly ball clangs off Pham's glove. He and Valdez need to go to remedial catching class.

Usually a team has at least one player who’s worth watching when he comes to the plate. The Pirates don’t have one of those. Almost all of them should be hitting seventh or lower.

Pop up in short LF. 3 Pirates look at each other as it drops between them.

After tonight, MLB might refuse to allow the Pirates to participate in Jackie Robinson day.
