Agreed. He looked good last year and I was glad they brought him back. But he looked nothing like the Yoshi of 2021. I guess the version we saw in 2022 was what TB and LA saw when they gave up on him.

To this day, I'll never understand how he went for hitting with power to not being able to pull the ball, turning him into an opposite field slap hitter.

I'm still trying to figure out the rationale that was used to sign him in the first place. I've ranted since day 1. Makes me crazy to watch him. &*^%@!!

Trying to guess where VanMeter will start tonight.
I'll go with 2B.
That will accomplish two goals for Shelton:
1. He can move Newman to SS and get Cruz out of the lineup before he starts getting too hot.
2. It enables JVM to block Marcano, which makes perfect sense.
