Glad to see Davis and Nick Gonzales are included. They both missed a great deal of their seasons. Perhaps they can get mostly caught up to where they were projected to be by the end of the Fall League season.

The number of players - 9 - was a surprise. It seems like we usually get 6 or 7. I always enjoy following the box scores as I need anything Pirate related in October - even AFL scores and standings.

I normally don't follow the AFL much, but will this year with three guys of ours who are all top 100 MLB prospects. All three could be in Pittsburgh next year at some point.

does this mean Thomas will get a roster spot? Sabol too (not sure if he needs one yet) Any of the others?
