I don't get Connor Joe in the #3 spot against a right-hander. But hey, 10 days ago I was advocating trading Hayes.

Hoping that the Bucs can get Oviedo some runs to help him glide into the game.

I'm amazed that Hill went 7 effective innings last night. In the first inning, Alvarez was gleefully smiling as if to say --- this guy's a major league pitcher and I get to rip him every time I bat. I noticed that he was not smiling as much the 2nd time he faced him.

Also see that the Mets have dispatched 2 of the pitchers from last night's game; Hunter was designated and Muckenhirn was optioned.

Hoping that the same fate may unfold for other pitchers that face the Bucs today.

Senga is good. For some reason I had totally forgotten about him. I think he got a 5 year, 15 million a year contract from Mets so I should have remembered him.
