Official Game Lineup - 4/14- Bucs vs Nationals

Post by Possum »

Nats

1 RF Alex Call R
2 LF James Wood L
3 C Keibert Ruiz S
4 1B N. Lowe L
5 DH Josh Bell S
6 2B Luis Garcia L
7 3B Paul DeJong R
8 CF Dylan Crews R
9 SS Nasim Nunez S
SP Brad Lord R

Bucs

1 CF Oneil Cruz L
2 DH B. Reynolds S
3 RF A. McCutchen R
4 1B E. Valdez L
5 3B K. Hayes R
6 C E. Rodriguez S
7 LF Tommy Pham R
8 2B Adam Frazier L
9 SS I. Kiner-Falefa R
SP Paul Skenes R

Here we go. I won't criticise Shelton on the lineup. He has not idea what he is going so just let things go. I hope that I hope Josh Bell comes back to town and bites GMBC's staff after Skenes pitches in the arse.

Rodriguez leaves game in 1st inning when Nats batter is HBP on foot and ball ricochets onto Endy's throwing hand.
Can anyone here play this game?

Hayes singles a run home with two out and, on the play, manages to get himself thrown out at first base. He’s another boneheaded player. 1-0 Bucs after one.

Skenes with over 50 pitches through three. We need to have him have a couple of quick innings so he can maybe work through eight. And, oh yeah, we’ll need a bunch more runs. Still 1-0 Bucs midway through three.

This is game #17 and the Pirates have used 9 different leadoff batters.
Just hard to imagine

A Cruz double and Reynolds single put the Bucs up 2-0. With all those runs it seems like a laugher.

Thank you John Wehner for not so subtly telling Block-head "you've done this routine before last year". It was about Wood growing up in Maryland, but he's actually from "Kenny Wood" which is his father's name.

Bucs have managed to hit into, or run themselves into, three double plays through four innings. Still 2-0 good guys.

Another perfect inning in the 5th for Skenes. I see Dylan Crews, the #2 draft pick last year, is hitting around .110. He’d have fit right in here.
