Rays pitching coach made suggestions that instantly turned Stephenson into a standout reliever. Too bad Oscar Marin couldn't do that. The Pirates just seem to have a real problem identifying and correcting problems.

Re: Article about Robert Stephenson's turnaround with Rays.
Well, it's a strange flex. It is the Rays MLB writer, and like every single one of them, they present every article from a fanboy standpoint. Again, Stephenson was hurt earlier in the year, so if this is a sideways jab, not sure why. Good for Robert having the same success he was having with the Pirates last season.
Maybe De Los Santos will write a similar story about Oviedo and how he's done better since leaving the Cardinals. But then again, Pirates fans would just bash him for writing a fanboy story.

Better to be a fanboy then a boytoy.
