Pirates Attendance

The Pirates are showing some improvement on the field this season, especially since the younger players have arrived. I just took a look at their attendance for this season, and they have drawn through 59 dates 1,225,766. For the entire 2022 home season they drew 1,257,458. They may surpass that total tonight, but for certain they will exceed that total tomorrow. There are some big series coming up with the Cubs, Cards and Yankees. There is a good chance we could see attendance grow for this season to exceed 1,500,000. If they can return to playing for a Division or Wild Card I would expect they would draw over 2 million fans into PNC Park.

The fans are definitely there. I am happy that the young players are now in the lineup on a daily basis.
