Let's keep this thing going and finish the first half strong! I'd take 5-2 this week, but 6-1 would be so sweet...

Pirates signed 31-year old Josh Outman out of the Atlantic League today to make a start for Indy. Wish him best of luck, as he's obviously in a longshot of a comeback.

Indy lost Taillon, Kuhl and Glasnow to Bucs. Sounds like Bucs just need a rotation filler at Indy and don't want to rush anyone from Altoona. Outman must be a sacrificial lamb.

I should have added it's the second game of a doubleheader. Duncan gave up one run in five innings and took the win in the opener.

Outman gave up three runs in the first, so his ice is a little thinner.

Outman with a 4.23 ERA in the small independent league he was in, but had been on a nice streak of late. Still not surprising he is stRugglng out of the gate.

Harrison should have advanced on the throw to third. He would have probably scored if he read that Sac Fly properly.

A 4th run would be great. I hope some one can knock him in and that his foot is ok.

I can't believe Kuhl was pulled in the third inning?

McCutchen ties game with a HR.
