D-backs officially say he's on the trade block. They also said their not looking for a comparable haul that they traded to the Braves. Are we interested? What would be an appropriate trade?

Considering they optioned him to AAA with his 7.14 ERA and 1.745 WHIP, an appropriate trade might be the peanut vendor. I wouldn't want to add Miller to an already problematic rotation.

I'd hate for the Pirates to add Miller because that would mean they wouldn't get to face him anymore.

Miller is 2-7 in 10 lifetime starts against the Pirates with an ERA of 4.88. No team has hit more homers against him (11) or scored more earned runs (30) than the Pirates.

I agree. I don't give them anything more than our 20th prospect and expect nothing from him in 2016.

Wasn't Shelby Miller pretty hittable as a Redbird, before he was dwelt to the Braves?

He gave up homers but around 8 hits per nine innings which is pretty good. His stats with Braves are good too.

I'd be very interested I'd think Ray Searage could fix him, he was a great young pitcher just a couple of years ago. Big guy with a good arm.
