JA Happ wins his 15th game

Saw where JA Happ won his 15th game last night. Sure would have been nice to see that 15th win come with Pittsburgh across his jersey...As Neal Huntington fiddles and preaches financial responsibility, the NL Central Wildcard drifts further into the sunset...Are you destined to never raise above the Wild Card?

J Happ is having a career year. Prior to coming to Pittsburgh his best year was in 2009 with the Phils. At his age who would have thought he would get a three year contract for 36 million and by only be an average pitcher. It was a risk that the Blue Jays took and this year it has panned out. Let's wait to see what Happ does in the next two years. Maybe he will decline like Lirano did this year and the Jays will regret the money they paid him.

And you are assuming he would win 15 with the Pirates. With the way we've been fielding and hitting of late, I would doubt that.

Good point...I doubt with the current team, he would be winning 15 games. I still would love to have him on our club opposed to Jeff Locke and the departed Jon Niese. :)

Instead? Those two still would have been here if Happ was signed.
