Why does it matter? We can't get Bell into the lineup now, but having Dickerson around would be better? Jaso would still be in front of them.

I don't think anyone said it matters as far as the Pirates or if he were still here.



I remember following him as a minor leaguer and thought it was great to see hm doing well in the MLB. it's just fun for me to discuss any MLB happenings.



I guess to Scott's point... It can also be interesting to look back at historical trades as we contemplate future trades in the very near present.



I think the Pirates have a ton of guys that can contribute at the MLB level someday (especially in the OF) and we have to unclad some of them soon



Speaking of which, Dickerson has been playing OF for the Pads. I feel like we had another big boomer 1bman playing a level above or below Dickerson when we traded him. Can't recall his name at the moment though... I'll have to look it up
