Who is the #19 prospect for 2017?

Post by psuinpgh21 »

Braeden Ogle and his magic arm tattoos easily win the #18 spot. Our first player who played only for the Gulf Coast Pirates to make it. Nobody who played at Bristol has even been nominated yet, will add Adrian Valerio before too long (and he may be their only representative). I am not including any players from the Dominican Summer League, too far away from the bigs, iffy scouting reports and last year wasn't good for them anyway.

As always, please let me know who you think should already be on the list or should be up for votes next.

Added Max Moroff this time, the 2015 minor league player of the year. Will not be adding Frank Duncan since he was traded to the DBacks for Phil Gosselin (IF, SRod 2.0, Kang insurance).

Your winners up til now:

1 Austin Meadows 21 OF AAA

2 Tyler Glasnow 23 SP AAA/MLB

Would you please Sammy? I've pushed him for the Top 20 and continue to vote for him. I would like to vote for someone else soon! :)

Maybe one of these matches up with your idea:

Eric Wood had a very good Arizona Fall league performance. He should probably be added.

Stephen Alemais is a young SS who they say is the second best fielding SS in our system after Gift. He needs to learn how to hit, but his defense is a big plus at that position.

And dare I mention Connor Joe? He did hit well in the second half of last season before laying an egg in the AFL.
