I'm a little bitter because I was supposed to have tickets a couple rows up behind home plate for this game last Thursday. Couldn't make it back in town and had to sell my tickets.

I don't know what to make of this team. Sweeping ATL followed by the team completely tanking against the Reds.

They better get it together fast. Starting today they have 7 on the road against Boston, Chicago, and St. Louis.

It would be a good afternoon to stop sucking, that's for sure.

Hate to say it, but I'm expecting 1-6 on this road trip, figuring we can maybe get one in STL.

The only pitching matchup I like over the next 4 days is tomorrow (Cole vs. Hendricks), and I don't even like that one.

Maybe today we can actually get a base hit with RISP.

I can't figure out our futility in that department vs. the Reds. Pirates hit .229 vs. the Reds (which admittedly is not great) with no RISP. But they hit .000 with RISP. That just doesn't make any sense considering it was a fairly decent sample size. How can they be so wretched in that situation?

Nice to see Cutch hit a homer. Someone needs to start carrying the team offensively.

I like how Bell works pitchers but he has some ugly swings in his at bats. I know he waits but he is struggling catching up to fastballs.

Andrew's homer ties him with Barry Bonds on the all time Pirate home run list.

I was noticing that too. Many off balance swings.
