That beats Hanson's score last night on three WP/PBs - I think he was walked to 1st.

WV pitchers combined for 20 Ks on the day. The other half of the Melancon trade, Taylor Hearn, had a nice start today.

Were they swinging at fastballs in the dirt or does he have a tough curveball? He must have some amazing ball movement to get that many swings on wild pitches.

The write up didn't say but the scouting report mentions a good curve and a change that he gets K's on. I would think the pitches in the dirt were off speed. Low A hitters have a tough time laying off that stuff.....
