Last minute change. Harrison LF, Hanson 2B. That seems to make more sense.

he got 4 outs, 2 on K's that inning

error did not help at all.

his control is a bit better.

Cubs might be most patient team of all time and he had zero walks!!!!

Bryant crushed a timid fastball, and Russell put a good swing on a good pitch...otherwise, all of that damage came from a tight strike zone and poor defense. The Bryant HR was the only run they truely earned by beating Glasnow.

It should have only been 2 runs. Small steps but his stuff looks better and he got squeezed on about 4 pitches. Let's see how the next few innings go.
