I honestly don't think these games matter, as I'd put the Pirates' playoff chances at <1%, but may as well talk about it.

Nova loads the bases with no outs (thanks in part to Josh Bell throwing a DP ball away) but gets out of it only giving up one run.

Maybe Walker will boot a few for old time sake.

I mean, he's not going to stay in Milwaukee, right?

No Bat Marte does nothing to bring tying run in with 1 out.

I'm so tired of our corner OFers.

Chance to get on the board and both Marte and Harrison make quick outs to end the inning.

I like Frazier's bat and I would seriously consider him for a corner outfield spot in 2018. I would listen to offers for Marte this offseason to see what kind of return he would bring to the Bucs.

So Hurdle wastes his challenge on a play with no chance of being reversed and then can't challenge a horrible call that wrongly gives the Brewers a run. Wow.

That's ridiculous. What a terrible call. Heck of a play by Mercer. I've never seen a manager denied a request to look at a play. If that stupid play winds up costing the Pirates this game, that will sting for these players. Horrendous call, even in realtime.

Exactly. Why they even challenged that Bell play is beyond me. He was out by a country mile.
