His greatest asset was his command and control? I also find it interesting to see how little time he has spent at AA/AAA (71 IP/66 IP). 22 starts above a-ball, total. This guy may have been moved a little bit too fast. Maybe he can still harness that control and become a mid-rotation starter?

Very interesting articles about Musgrove. He appears to have good control and has limited walks during his minor league career. Let’s hope he carries that over this year with the Pirates. I wonder too if pitching at PNC Park will have a positive effect with him rather than pitching in Houston’s ballpark with the short dimensions in left field.
