Report just on KDKA-TV that 4 thousand seats remain unsold for opening day and season ticket sales are down substantially. Front office expected to start offering discounts on seats and amenities.

That's probably not good. I can see trades and budget cuts resulting if attendance is down over the year.

i have no doubt J-Hay is gone as soon as they realize their pitching isnt going to do much better than of average of the 5, a 4 starters stats. Lets face it, Taillon is probably a 2-3, the rest, well, i say they are 4-5's. They'll be border line .500 team at best. Goodbye Harrison, Nova, Marte and possibly Polanco.

Harrison should have been gone anyway. The Pirates have younger players who can do the same thing he can do.

I agree overall.

Game 2 is always the lowest attendance. They are offering $1 tickets through the app this year for that game.

Not sure what this moron owner expected after giving his below average FO, Neal and Clint, a 4 year contract for below average results. He knows nothing about baseball and he's going to get a good lesson on the economics of fielding a great team vs a below average team.
