Williams pulled after six innings. He threw 85 pitches, walked 5, with 1 strike out and zero hits.

I didn't see a lot of the game but the home plate ump seemed to really have a small zone. Williams just gets out. Polanco hitting, again. I've been very critical of him, I hope I've been wrong. If he hits, it makes this lineup so much better. Good game. Let's get the second one too.

I think the ump called more wrong than right.



Williams was very effective. Rivero was unhittable!

That high strike isn't being called but it's hitting the strike zone chart (if that is accurate).



Great win. Williams was pretty good. I would love too a good April from the Pirates.
