Sans Rizzo, the Cubs aren't a great offensive team, so these games could end up being low scoring, but should the bucco offense keep it up, then that would be quite encouraging.

It's hard to mess with the line up at this point. The Cubs have some very good pitching. I would love to see the bats explode at least one game.

Did Bryant retire or something?


Maybe he means they aren't good right now? They do have five regulars batting under .225 (one is Rizzo, on the DL). Bryant and Zobrist are the only two hitting.

Yep, fair enough. Bryant, Zobrist, Russell, Contreras, Happ, should all hit at some point.

Rizzo and Bryant are the engines that drive that lineup. Contreras' numbers might not be driven as much by those guys, but I don't think Russell and Zobrist are great hitters. They were both bad last year, and Happ is still young.
