Also, Stalling gets the start for both Musgrove and Archer.

Gotta hope that having him pitch to his preferred catcher helps Archer improve his performance tonight.

Taking 3 straight from the Cubbies would be sweet.

Archer in the middle of his meltdown inning. If he gets out with only 1 run we’re all lucky.

Pirates down 2-0

Reds up on Brewers 1-0

Melk man! Clint's been pushing the right buttons this series. Frazier leading off, Cabrera starting for Reynolds. We got the lead, now gotta hold it.

There is no way that they should even think about moving Melky. Keep him through the remainder of the season.

Archer has a tendency to give up runs immediately after the Pirates score. Let's see if he can buck this trend.

I’ve personally seen enough of Chris Archer and I just don’t see him getting any better. This is simply who he is. He gives up a ton of homeruns, he is a headcase on the mound and has terrible body language every time something bad happens, and he throws a ton of pitches and can’t get out of the 4th or 5th inning. I know the Pirates right now don’t have many other better options but I’m just tired of him and I’ve seen enough.
