I hope Hurdle sees that. Ron Acuna hit a deep fly ball to RF today and stood at the plate admiring it before beginning his HR trot carrying the bat toward 1B. Only problem was that the ball hit a few feet from the top of the wall and took a long rebound into CF. Acuna had to stay at 1B with a single and was then thrown out trying to steal. Manager Brian Snitker spoke to Acuna in the dugout and did not allow him to take the field for the 5th inning. Great to see a manager refuse to allow such nonsense, even from a star player early in the game.
