today would have been a good day to start Tsutgo at third, Moran in right and Park at first.

Another missed opportunity to check on defensive flexibility.

Just a recap while I was out toodling in the yard:

Yoshi rakes. WHAM!!! Anothah Homah!!!

Brubaker gets pulled with no outs, 2 on bottom of 4th and I think he had started pitching to the next batter when he came out for injury. Howard came in, gave up an RBI single and 2 RBI groundouts.

Pirates top of the 5th score 5 with a bases loaded walk, a bases loaded HBP, a wild pitch, and a 2RBI single.

Cubs get one back on a HR.

So far, Brubaker has come out for injury, Underwood Jr. has come out for injury.

Alford now has as many RBI in the first 4 games of September than Polanco did in all of August
