Contreras did well last night, and I assume with only 4 remaining games he won’t pitch again this year. The Bucs are playing short one bench player since Hayes went on the IL yesterday. For the remaining games sent out Contreras to AAA, ( but he can remain in Pittsburgh) and recall Cruz who is doing very well at Indy since his promotion from Altoona.

I say let him torment AAA pitching and then let him compete for a spot on the big team in February.
